SEO Services
My SEO Proccess
How I work
I’m a freelance SEO professional. I assist both large and small businesses with their search engine rankings on platforms like Google and Bing and with all aspects of technical SEO, content analysis, and keyword strategy.
If you’re looking for a freelance SEO consultant, get in touch with me.
Offering SEO services in 2025 is quite complex; it goes far beyond selecting a few keywords and sprinkling them into content. It’s about speaking directly to the person on the other side, naturally and creatively, showcasing experience and expertise.
I strive to stay updated on the many changes Google has made to SEO in recent years, so we can provide this service correctly and without using “quick fixes.” What works today but isn’t accepted by Google will almost certainly fail tomorrow.
If you’re looking for a professional who understands the SEO changes of recent years, especially with the advent of artificial intelligence, count on me!
Website Audit
A website audit should be done manually, using specialized tools to extract data from a page.
A manual audit involves the SEO professional viewing the client’s site from the user’s perspective, trying to understand the text, checking if everything is in the right place, and delving into aspects like page speed, keyword distribution, current organic ranking, backlink profile, user experience, etc.
A website audit can reveal great opportunities, such as:
- Identifying errors: If there are problems with your site, fixing them will likely improve your organic ranking.
- Spotting opportunities: If your content can be enriched to further assist the user, using more keywords can help you appear more frequently in search engines.
Careful Keyword Identification
It’s common for people to think that the more keywords a site has, the more visitors it will attract, and the more it will sell. While the logic is sound, in practice, it doesn’t quite work that way.
A keyword like “web design,” for example, is extensive and can mean various things, such as people searching for images of beautiful websites, web design courses, web design services, job opportunities in web design, etc.
However, if the keyword is “web design in Manchester,” we already have a clearer context of what the user is looking for. And if the keyword is “web design companies in Manchester,” it’s even better.
The more you focus on the keyword you believe will convert better (bottom of the funnel), the better it is for your business. You can also use more general keywords, like “how to make my website,” and write an article about how someone can create their site or outsource it to an agency.
Additionally, it’s essential to identify the difficulty of each keyword. Highly competitive keywords may not be worth the effort, as they might take many months to yield even a small result.
That’s why careful keyword research is crucial and can guide your business.
Page Content Optimisation
In the past, or even until recently, a page filled with keywords would rank higher in search results, so it was common to see sites repeating the same keywords throughout their content. Google saw this and said, “Enough!” and simply changed the rules of the game, making this practice considered spam.
Soon, other “techniques” were used, like writing massive amounts of content. The idea was that the more content, the more keywords, and the more Google would think that site really knew the subject. But this too is now seen as a way to manipulate search results.
When you search for “health benefits of apples,” you don’t want a 5,000-word article—that’s tedious. So, Google put a stop to this practice as well.
What Google, the most popular search engine on the internet, wants is content created naturally for the user.
In fact, Google’s recent 2024 update was to address the issue of using artificial intelligence in content creation.
Google can easily identify artificially generated content, and it doesn’t favour this because the more human the content, the more likely the user is to engage deeply with it. And even artificial intelligence needs to “feed” on rich content that demonstrates Experience, Authority, and Trustworthiness (EAT).
Therefore, each piece of content on your site needs to be well-written, or else it’s better to remove it if it doesn’t serve the user.
Content optimisation initially focuses on writing, distributing headings, meta-titles, meta-descriptions, image alt tags, and more.
By making your content richer and more humanised, you’ll need less content overall, as the content you do have will be of great value to the user, and that’s what Google is looking for.
Technical SEO
Technical SEO is addressed right from the start of your site audit. I examine how your site was built, checking for issues like slow loading times, responsiveness (since Google now considers mobile as the primary mode of viewing a site), schemas, Search Console, among other things.
Technical SEO not only enhances the user experience but also helps search engines find the necessary information within your site.
